GOEMON'S GREAT ADVENTURE

Gameplay
In case you haven't played any of the Goemon series games, this one is similar to Super Mario World (to some extent). You side-scroll through areas and bash/slice enemies for money, health, or fortune dolls. Once you pass an area or complete a mission you gain an Entry Pass. Enough Entry Passes, and you'll unlock castles (which you must defeat to continue through the game) or secrets.
Probably the coolest feature in the game is 2-player mode. Unlike Mario, Goemon games are co-op. In others words, two characters can run around bashing the brains out of enemies and assisting each other when needed. Sound fun? You better believe it!
  Impressions
If you're looking for the perfect Goemon game, this is close as one could possibly come. This is how all Goemon games should play (more or less). Even if you never heard of Goemon before in your life (if that's the case and live in Japan, you've been hiding under a rock for the past 20 years) you'll become hooked by the time you get to the first castle.

Grafics
While the grafics are good compared to other Goemon games, this is possibly the only area this game lacks. General N64 players are not likely to be impressed by the games grafics very much. I'll admit that sometimes the lack of grafics tends to get annoying (like rocks that hide that enemy you were supposed to see). Still, the game concentrates on it's fun-factor while other games may not even have one.

Grip
The control is fairly good. Occasionly though you have to hit the button hard to get Goemon to double-jump.
